The Human Resources Department seeks to support each employee by offering development opportunities, fringe benefits, and serving as an information resource. The department also works to support departments by furnishing them with a qualified work force, thus fulfilling the Grand Traverse County mission of providing responsive, effective, quality service.
The Grand Traverse County Human Resources Department provides comprehensive services to 37 operating departments, more than 500 employees of Grand Traverse County, and the public at large.
Duties & Responsibilities
One of its chief functions is to provide Grand Traverse County with a highly qualified work force, with opportunities in the areas of community services, support services, the court system, health, and safety.
